Rikard Österlund's journey through photography started when he came to the UK to study at university. He is a commercial photographer specialising in portraiture. Although the majority of his commercial work is digital, he loves to use analog too.

The Swedish photographer is just one of two practicing the wet plate collodion process in Kent. Settling down in Rochester where he met his wife, Rikard holds exhibitions and workshops in the area for anyone interested in the hands-on technique.
